Christmas is too sparkly, said no one EVER!

Yep, it’s the season for tinsel and tassels and all things sparkly but let’s face it, there’s not much point in spending your hard earned cash on a sparkly number that’ll only work for the next few weeks is there? Nope but don’t get your tinsel in a tangle just yet. I’m suggesting that sequins are perfect to leave a little sparkle wherever you go but much like the ‘adopt a dog’ ad campaigns on the telly, they’re definitely not just for Christmas.

I wore this ‘dress’ (above) for Weekend AM last weekend and when I say ‘dress’ I mean ‘blazer’. It is actually a dress but if I’m honest I would have been arrested had I decided to wear it as one. Call me old fashioned but that was never gonna work. Now perhaps if you’re dinkier and slimmer and younger (I could cry!) then it might work. Might. 

Anyway, it was the sparkly number that saw me leave a trail of glitter in studio and then again whilst out in town last night when I gave it another whirl for an ‘out out’ drinks night with my tv family!
